Should the report tend to be true, the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be one of the first handsets from the South Korean company to receive a dual SIM variant, while the Samsung Galaxy S5 which was launched internationally supported only a single SIM.
An earlier report had claimed that Samsung might launch a dual SIM variant of the Galaxy S6 in Philippines with local Samsung representative and as per the report; it would be supporting dual Nano SIM cards though only one slot would be supporting 4G LTE.
Recently, Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge premium smartphones in India and both the smartphones would be available for purchase from April in the country while pre-orders opened recently.
Consumers seems to be impressed with the entry of the new handsets and early pre-orders were reported to hit around 20 million which was weeks ago prior to the pre-orders made available in large markets that included the U.S. It was reported that Swiss pre-orders was four times the amount placed for last year’s Galaxy S5.
